What our Guests say about our self catering cottages
The Old Police Station - wow what a find
The Old Police Station Portsoy, wow what a find. We spent 11 wonderful nights, the care and attention to detail that Wendy & Colin have put into this renovation is marvellous. Apart from all the work that went into the restoration the house is very well appointed, everything you could wish for a real home from home, so cosy and comfortable. There was a very generous welcome pack and many other useful bits & pieces not often found in holiday accommodation. Portsoy is a very nice town, we walked a different Moray coastal path each day. Thank you Wendy & Colin it was a pleasure to meet you both, we wish you every success in the future.
Driftwood Cottage - a real home from home
Beautiful cottage owner lovely, perfect place to chill and relax a real home from home.
Sandend Cottage - the cherry on top!
Sandend is one of my favourite places in the whole world and this cottage is the cherry on top! We feel at home as soon as we arrive and the cottage is always immaculate, welcoming and friendly. Wendy and Colin are the perfect hosts and have become friends over the years. Cannot wait to go back again, we just love it!
6 Seatown - very welcoming and kid friendly
Such a lovely little cottage to stay, its very welcoming and kid friendly with minutes away from the seafront. It has its own fireplace that keeps the lounge nice and warm, with a very modernised touch to each room whilst maintaining its feel for the cottage decor and interior design. It’s a nice base to stay if you’re visiting Lossiemouth or other little seatowns along the East Coast, all sorts of walking trails nearby and close to nature. Its very quiet at the cottage with your own parking, you can hear the RAF jets passing by from the base, but that’s about it. I’d highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Lossiemouth

Another reason why I love living here!
But I really don`t need the sun to rise at 4.30am! Why don`t they do daylight saving in the summer too?!

It is with regret that I want to let my previous guests know that we have decided to sell Driftwood Cottage. Following an increase in non domestic rates of 170%, we no longer meet the requirements for small business rates relief. My costs were going to increase to a level that no longer made my business viable. I have loved welcoming guests to this lovely cottage in Portsoy. I have enjoyed working in the beautiful garden. On the rare occasions that I got to stay, watching the sun set with a drink in front of the summer house is an experience hard to beat.

I had allowed the privet hedge at Sandend to get out of hand again, but with some careful pruning I managed to keep the blossom. It smells amazing, you can see the beach again - and the bees love it too! An afternoon well spent!

Start of the heatwave! A very pleasant 26 degrees here!

I love this photo of visitors or locals enjoying the sun and the view of the beach, or just having a blether in front of our beautiful mural!

It`s a stunning evening. Lovely to watch the sun set from the top of Driftwood garden.

And continuing with the theme, here is (most of) the Old Police station, also in Portsoy!
